Warren D. Campbell

Warren D. Campbell 65 of Midland died Sunday January 31, 2010 at the Mid-Michigan Medical Center after a lengthy illness. He was born on August 19, 1944 in Bucyrus, Ohio to the late Dana F. and Vera A. ( Putzke ) Campbell. He moved to Midland in 1951. Warren graduated from Midland High School in 1963. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1963 to 1967. Warren married the former Linda Morse in Midland on October 4, 1969. He had worked at the family owned business, Ace Hardware in Midland and was later a Realtor-Broker-Owner of Campbell-Morse Realtors in Midland. Warren is survived by his wife of 40 years, Linda, sisters; Cheryl ( Dave ) Hunt of Midland and Janine ( Andy ) Cherne of Maple Grove, MN, sister-in-law Carol ( Bill ) Alexander of Midland, and brothers-in-law Clare ( Cindy ) Morse of Midland and Gary ( Sue ) Morse of Marquette, by several nieces and nephews, by his long-time fishing friends and by his loving and constant companion, his yellow lab, Misty. In addition to his parents Warren was predeceased by an infant brother, Dennis Campbell.

~Funeral Services~
Funeral Services will take place at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, February 4, 2010 from the Ware-Smith-Woolever Funeral Home 1200 W. Wheeler St. with Pastor James Barnhart of the Midland Wesley Chapel officiating. Burial will be in Homer Township Cemetery.

~Visitation~
Warren’s family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. and on Thursday from 10:00 A.M. until time of service.
