Dorothy J. Hopcroft, 86, of Midland, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, married to Jack Hopcroft, passed away February 5, 2010 at the MidMichigan Medical Center. She was born on October 28, 1923 in Bay City, daughter of the late Robert & Katie (Munley) Leagree. Dorothy was a business owner and operator of D& J Foodland in Kawkawlin, with her adoring and beloved husband. Surviving in addition to her husband of 62 years Dorothy is survived by her children, Kay Lubeck Norris, Martin and Cheri Hopcroft; grandchildren, Kelly Lubeck, Jody and Jeremy Stuckhardt, Bryan and Dersy Lubeck, Tracey and Elliot Hopcroft; great grandchildren, Kasey and Jason Lubeck, children of Bryan and Dersy. Dorothy was predeceased by her sister and brother-in-law, Tuddie and Robert Cummings.

In keeping with Dorothy’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family memorial service will take place at a later date.
