Gustav Leutz

Gustav "Gus" Leutz of Jackson passed away Thursday July 1, 2010 age 86 years. Survived by his wife of 64 years Bette Marie Leutz. Three Children: David (Vickie) Leutz of San Jose, California, Julia (Mike)
Mosier of Fairgrove, Michigan and Margaret (T.J.) Arend of Jackson, Michigan. Four grandchildren: Seth (Meg) Mosier of Cairo Egypt, Aaron Mosier of Lansing, MI , Lindsay (Josh) Lewis of San Jose, CA, John (Jennifer) McGrew of San Jose, CA. Two great grandchildren: Nicholas and Jack McGrew of San Jose, CA. Ans many nieces and nephews. Gus was a Navy Veteran of World War II, serving over three years as a Aviation Electrician’s mate. Upon his return to civilian life in 1948,Gus founded the electrical contracting firm of Leutz Electric. He was a life member of Elks Lodge #113, having served over 40 years as an official of the Elks Major Project for Special Needs Children. Also was a member of the Home Builders Association of Jackson and the American Legion Post #29.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday July 10th,2010 at Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church at 10:00am.

~Visitation~
The family will receive friends at the Church on Saturday from 9:00am till time of service.

~Memorials~
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Gus’s memory to the Elks Major Project or the Cascades Humane Society would be appreciated.
