Eva M. Holcomb, 69 of Midland, died early Sunday morning, July 25, 2010 at the MidMichigan Medical Center. She was born on December 13, 1940 in Lake City, daughter of the late Marlo and Irene (Gibson) Rider. She married Ronald Holcomb on August 1, 1959. Eva was a member of the Sanford Eagles and the Sanford American Legion Auxiliary Post #443. She was an avid outdoorswoman, enjoying fishing and camping. Surviving in addition to her husband Ron are several nieces and nephews and a special nephew, Don (Clara) Krathwohl of Merritt, MI. In addition to her parents, three brothers, Dale, Ray and Dean Rider; sister, Reva Adams and nephew Steve Rider all predeceased her.


~FUNERAL~
Funeral services will take place at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 27, 2010 from the Ware-Smith-Woolever Funeral Home, 1200 West Wheeler Street. Rev. John Pohanka will officiate with burial in New Hope Cemetery.


~VISITATION~
Eva’s family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
