Scott J. Rodammer

Scott J. Rodammer, 48, of Richville, died unexpectedly Saturday evening, July 24, 2010 at Salem Hospital in Salem, Oregon, as a result of a bicycle auto accident in Salem. He was born October 3, 1961 in Saginaw, son of John and Marlene (Trump) Rodammer of Vassar. Scott was a 1979 graduate of Reese High School and lived in Tuscola County most of his life before moving to Salem in 2009. He was employed a maintenance worker and enjoyed cross-stitching and fire trucks. He was former member of the Richville Fire Department.

Surviving besides his parents Jack and Marlene, are his two daughters, Amanda Bean and her husband Michael of Bay City and Julie Rodammer of AuGres; his four granddaughters, Kaitlynn, Abigayl, Mandy and Michaela. Also surviving is his fiancée, Kimberly Lane of Salem, OR; two sisters and their spouses, Kimberly and Jeff Johnston of Vassar; Pamela and Mark Harris of Washington, N.J. and several nieces and nephews

Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service to celebrate Scott’s life will take place 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 28, 2010 from the Ware-Smith-Woolever Funeral Chapel, 9940 Saginaw St. in Reese. Rev. John Pohanka will officiate. Scott’s family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5:30 p.m. until time of services. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Richville Fire Department or the donor’s favorite charity.
